The cheapest way to buy SGX listed and to go straight to your CDP account is DBS Vickers Cash Upfront which is minimum $10 for the trading fees and it is held on to your CDP...If you buy shares from any other brokers which keep it in Custodian account, you have to pay the trading fees when buying and another fee for transferring the shares to your CDP...

investing should be keep easy and simple.
either use a broker with custodian or cdp. if u wanna switch brokers, do it without paying unnecessary fees like transferring fees, custody fees etc.

i was using iocbc and poems for a long time. shares bought were transferred to cdp automatically. recently switched to SCB because of its lower trading comms.
all i did was update my spreadsheet on which holdings is in cdp or custody, share price bought when the transactions was fulfilled. gotta need some discipline if you want to have it cheap.

In theory, Is it a possibility that sti keeps dropping but this etf remain stable as NOBODY wants to sell, what will the etf manager do to make its price follow sti?
