For STI ETF, I have been doing a RSP.

I treat it like buying any endowment or insurance plan.

And my expected returns is low for STI.

Don't buy just for the sake of dividends.

You will be disappointed.

A lot of retirees bought dividends stocks like SIA, SPH, Singtel, Starhub, M1, Singpost, etc.

They collect dividends but suffer massive capital losses.

my mama is one of them I think SPH mass cap loss, the rest are still above water.
