I can have cashflow mah. Anytime need the cash i can take out. U pay cash for housing loan and keep CPF but when u need more $ u cant withdraw out from cpf anytime.

Unless u saying u vrry rich lor.

Poor low ses like me sure take 2.6% housing loan de. Keep cash for rainy days or the day STI ETF toh to $1 hurry up scoop and can retire on passive income dividends.

MBH has given better returns compared to STI ETF. Post the pandemic, the dividend yield for STI ETF should be somewhat similar to the yield for MBH.

Can go do backtesting.

Yahoo finance can download historical data. Then pick the frequency and calc

I will never know when i might lose my job.

Actually thought the ~1% saving on interest is quite substantial, then just save more for rainy day and down overstretched?

If HDB can give 6 months leeway, then just have at least 6 months of instalment worth of savings?
