Seems like Buying STI ETF and banks is actually a hedge against REITs when interest rates rise. When interest rise, STI and banks up. When interest rates lowers, REITs rise.

Yup, it is a balancing act with 2 hands. Two diamond hands. ;)

Same.
Diamond hands on all my S-Reits and banks now.

STI ok la. Can keep also.
I DCA into STI ETF and I treat it like DCA ing into our 3 local banks, which have a substantial weightage in the index. Our local Banks are so expensive to DCA small sums into them directly.

I used to dca STI etf too. but I stopped Dec 2020. luckily I increased my monthly dca for the whole of 2020 which coincide with the dip. or else my average price damn high. think I'll still hold this and then do a lumped buy whenever it dips below my average price.
