my avg ish around 2.6
is it too greedy to wait for 3.3 - 3.5? 🤭
No la. I think will hit. 😊 Just be patient. But if i were u holding at ave 2.6, I won't offload leh. If really want to, maybe just offload like 10% to 20%. Cos may be a long wait for 2.6 to return for u to accumulate. I intend to offload all those > 3. My es3 spread over in 3 diff accounts.

What will be Singapore, regional or world economy like in 6 -12 months time ?

Otherwise this is a dead buffalo bounce as some would have like to say.

Singapore's success lies in its open economy so it suffered greatly during the peak of the pandemic as we had to close our borders which basically shutdown our domestic economy. The performance of STI reflected that harsh reality during the lockdown peroid and was the worst performing index in Asia. Now with IATA and vaccination going well, expect a strong rebound from the bottom. Now, back to pre-covid and pre-Trump-trade-war period and possibily the best performing index in Asia.

Shorties are now running for cover :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

like you discussed before, have to look at absolute return too.

During last GFC, I was scared to average up so my average buying price is low and % return is high. But I didn't maximise the $ return.

This time round, I averaged down once STI dropped below 3,000. But after it was clear STI was heading back towards 3,000, i started averaging up starting at $2.80 range as long as STI was below 3,000. This lowered my % return but increased my $ return 💲💲💲
I have this fear too and easily affected by others thought till I misses the 18 boat of dbs. If there is a next crash, I will be more brave.

My covid purchases of es3 yield 23% excluding the 2 dividends which if included should be around 27%. Not spectacular but good enough for me with the quantum I threw in
Mine is 24% for purchase through cpf oa but for srs one only 6 or 7 % because bought high.

So far i see most DBS recommendations are tricky. But the names of the analysts are there. If chun, maybe can take more notice for their future recommemdations.

Nov 2020 video come take here 马后炮 ? Whats the use of looking back when we all should be forward looking?

If sti went down, anyone can also find 2020 video saying "sell STI" and post here.
