Actually, you can pick up Corsair Force Series GT 120GB from Newegg or Amazon for US$201, plus a few more bucks for shipping. You get a top-tier Sata3 SSD for about SGD250 compared to buying locally (which is around $378!)

performance wise, which one is better? crucial m4 or adata 511?
Which one is better for main OS and application drive?

any idea when is the ocz octane coming?

No news on stocks and prices yet after the announcement in various websites. In fact SSDs might face a mini shortage of their own. A portion of global storage demand is being shifted to SSD since HDD are so hard to get :s31:

sigh. wanted to get the crucial m4 but the intel 520series and ocz octane is around the corner.

I would say Crucial M4 is , currently, the most well rounded SSD (stability, peformance, price).

If you need a SSD urgently, by all means, grab a M4.

Otherwise, let's wait for 520 and Octane. :D

I dont need it urgently ( using f3 and wd black ) but i WANT IT NOW.:s22:
