It's faster on my desktop running 2500K, but my laptop running P9500 is slower when it comes to booting up and shutting down. Using the Intel 320 on my desktop and the Crucial M4 on my laptop. I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. Clean install with BIOS set to AHCI mode is good enough.

Hai ke yi, because my SSD ish small, i put Users folder in HDD.


Moi time again, now ish around 28 seconds:o
Did you install the latest intel RST drivers and follow the standard SSD optimization guide?

Hi guys, if I just need a SSD for my OS and all my programs. Is it advisable to invest in a SSD. I reckon a 128mb should be enough for OS, Office 2010, and all the internet protection thingy as well as my handful of games that I play.

Or would it be better for me to just get a faster HDD?

I'm assuming you're referring to 128GB. :s13:
Get the Crucial M4 128GB. The difference in response is very obvious, you won't regret it.
