i dont really feel that its a full minute according to bootracer.

i think i should time it myself lol....
u can also check in windows event viewer - boot duration (event 100), found under diagnostics-perf. it includes 10sec idle time, so subtract 10sec (10000ms) from the number.

I've just installed in 60GB Kingston V+200 SSD into my Acer V3-471G but is getting very low figures for my crystal mark tests.

From my Intel RST window, I can see that it is connected to a SATA3 6Gbps port, with physical and logical sector size being set as 512 bytes. I've also enable AHCI in bios.

On paper, it should be getting
60GB (SVP200S3/60G)
Sequential Reads - 535 MB/s
Sequential Writes - 460 MB/s
Sustained Random 4k Read - 12,000/47,000 IOPS
Max Random 4k Read - 85,000/60,000 IOPS

This is what i am getting

Sequential Reads - 202MB/s
Sequential Writes - 61MB/s
Sustained Random 4k Read - 6,326/14,864IOPS
Max Random 4k Read - 20,117/13,602IOPS

What could be wrong? can anyone help?

Wah you also also got problem with this ssd. My windows won't boot with ide, I have to switch to ahci then it works. Is it not detecting even in bios?

Need some advise.
I will need to upgrade my SSD from 120G to 180G.
Should I connect both the SSD when installing win 7? Will it allow me to select the correct SSD for the OS?
How to reformat my 120Gb SSD (OS drive) so that I can use it for data drive? Thanks.
