Get intel 530 from amazon. International warranty. If you not worried about warranty, go for crucial m500. cheapest ssd and roughly same performance as the others in real life scenarios.

Crucial more or less similar to intel 530 warranty wise. Just that you will need to ship m500 back to US that costs ~$S10 for RMA and they will ship back to you for free. Get whichever is cheaper as there's no significance difference between them.

If speed is what you seek, 840 PRO on amazon is on sale. Warrant wise in US as well but not sure if they do ship to you after RMA for free.

Anyone using Samsung evo with RAPID enabled? Any real world difference? It's uses ram as a disk for caching when transferring files? I got 16gigs of ram, so would it be beneficial? Or most people disabled it?

RAPID is really beneficial, it really provides a remarkable 2 fold increase in speeds. On the contrary, most ppl have enabled the rapid function.

Icic. But since SSD is already so fast. I think that helps when transferring large files right? Haha if not, not much difference? Haha shall try using it enabled and disable. See I can feel the difference anot. Haha.

samsung magician rapid feature only uses 1gb of ram at the moment. It does slightly improve file copy speeds and reduce the time of opening programs. It does slightly increase boot up and shut down time though.
Imo there is no real world benefits from turning it on. I just turned it on for the test.

You dont need the spacer. Just hold the drive in place and screw it into the bay.
Usb to sata cable is not needed if you are installing new os.
