Whoa, that is bad! I'm lucky I went for the Intel 320 by chance.
Yes, when it comes to storage, my main concern is reliability. That's why I don't mind paying more if I have to, just for the peace of mind. And I always backup. Always.
Hi guys need some help. Thinking of getting a ssd for my MacBook pro late 2009 model and a ssd for my pc, currently there is 2 brand in my mind.
Intel 320 160gb or crucial m4 128gb dunno which is better.

That's why I only choose original Intel designed motherboard, Intel CPU and Intel SSD only. A lot of people over looked Intel motherboard. I don't really bother about benchmark as reliability and stability is the most important to me.

Hi guys
I have a few questions to ask about SSD. I have just bought a Crucial C300 128Gb SATA 3 SSD and intend to use it as my primary hard drive. My motherboard chipset is Intel H67 with SATA 3 ports and my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
1) Does this combination support TRIM?
2) Do I need to manually enable TRIM after Windows 7 installation? If yes, how?
3) Do I need to install the SSD driver from Marvell?
4) Is there any health indicator for the SSD?
I tried searching but got different answers. Would appreciate if expert bros here can enlighten me on all these questions.
Thanks!
Cheers
all forms of "SSD health" figures are indicative, they are never 100% reliable.
I realise that Windows 7 is repeatedly mentioned wrt SSD installation. Can I safely say that WinXP does not support SSD or rather, will have problems during and after installation? Please enlighten. thanks !!Programs like CrystalDiskInfo and SSD Life (or HDD Life for that matter) use SMART values to determine health. But not all errors are reported by SMART. Many of my failed drives had no SMART warning.
Intel 320 series 120GB no stock?
Anyone knows where got stock?
I'm also looking for it, or the 80GB version. Everywhere no stock it seems?
I given up. Getting the Corsair Force series 3 instead.
Already sold my Intel G2 80GB.
Only can find Intel 320 series 40GB in Ban Leong...
How much for that Corsair Force series 3 and where got?
But I hesitate to get other brands, since I'm using it as cache for Intel SRT...
