I almost got it as well last time but lucky no stock so I got the Corsair.

I was using Intel G2.

Wait till November before i save up enough to live and spend.
If they haven fix, i dunno what to do liao

Hey guys just curious on your opinions on the selected SSD's below (or if you have any other suggestions). I have a G53Sw in which I plan to install a new SSD that supports SATA III. Looking for a 60GB only; (maybe 120gb if it's a good price)

2. Corsair Force 3
3. Corsair Force GT
4. Intel 510
5. OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS

Advice is to skip Corsair Force 3 first cos it still have bugs while connecting to sata3 port.
Walkaround is to connect it to sata2 till Corsair solves the prob.

Thanks for the heads up! quick question though, does this issue apply to all Corsair Force 3's ? I've researched some and found out that only Force 3 120Gb has serious BSOD issues and, as you already said, the sata 3 port bug.

Not sure as I using the 120GB, thus I did more reading on the 120.

Bought a Force 3 120gb on thursdays (revised batch 1123), replace it to vertex 3 Max isop today at PCThemes as it's still within the 7 days period. Many thanks to the staff at PCThemes for the help rendered.

Was quite disappointed with corsair this time round, firstly the freezing issue followed by BSOD. Secondly, sata 3 bug. Defeats the purpose of a sata 3 drive if i have to use a sata 2 port.

I absolutely love Corsair for their quality products, but sadly their force 3 120gb ssd this time rd is really does not live up to their reputation.

AFAIK, only force 3 120gb has such problem. The rest is ok. i.e force 3 60gb, 240gb and force gt 60gb, 120gb, 240gb.

If you wanna RAID, why not consider the PCIe SSD?

Heard that it is only slight more exp than RAID setting but much better performance plus other benefits.
