currently which model for 120/128gb and 256gb is worth buying? need some recommendations...

nt necessary has to be cheapest....but looking into reliability and lesser problems (eg firmware/controller issue etc)

im thinking of changing my ssd... my current one seem like its gonna fail... often read/write will hang for awhile before continuing...

no need the fastest, just need something good and low failure rate, i believe the improvement between the different ssd grades is not that obvious right?

any recommendation for around 150 -200 for 64/60GB versions. the new one will hold OS onli, maybe dual boot. will be reusing my current SSD to store some other stuffs, hope it doesnt fail me so soon.

think the cheaper one are adata right?

definitely recommend the plextor M2S as i am using one(the 64GB) and found it to be reliable, fast with good firmware support. No complaints at all from me.

128GB Intel is number one
256GB if you list the prices I will tell you what to buy
If $$$ is no object, whack an Intel SSD

hullo guys, I got a Cosair Force GT 60GB installed and running Win 7. Happy with the speed but running out of space.

Just got a WD 1TB Caviar Blue 32MB (uninstalled) and was wondering if i should reinstall Win 7 on the SSD(C and install everything else on the WD 1TB (D? Going with this method, do I need to create a Program Files folder on D: and anyone experienced application issue running this way?

Or should I use the 60GB SSD as a Intel Smart Response caching thingy and use the WD 1TB as pri disk? I read that 30GB is more than sufficient but I do need a Caviar Black to have good performance.

install those important programs tat are used most of the time on SSD.

the rest u can install on ur conventional drive.. not a problem.

I think I only use browser and MS Office nia

What about games? Putting them on the mech disk would see any slowness other than during intial launch?

A SD card cannot match SSD in speed. MUCH slower.
