If ship directly, Amazon will collect import taxes on behalf of you which is around US$20 if Qty = 2. Which makes it more expensive than shipping it alone directly.

As for VPost or other forwarder, just hope they charge GST as 2 units prices are already threading near to S$400

The nand is made by intel in both cases, though they say the intel ssds get the best nand. You do get 2 years more warranty and "better firmware" but thats not really tangible..

not sure its worth $509/349 = 145% more!

Incredible that you say that 5 year warranty is not tangible.

in year 4, your SSD break down, with Intel, can get a 1-1 replacement (probably the current model will be replaced with a newer model, so Intel will 1-1 and give you a newer model).

5 year warranty quite tangible to me, especially if you are managing 10+ HDDs. The likelihood of 1-2 failing within 5 years quite high.

Intel RMA is one of the best (together with Microsoft)

Not sure about Intel SSDs but I definitely didn't have the best of experiences trying to RMA my Intel processor... ;)

X220 on SATA 3gb or SATA 6gb?

If SATA 3gb, no point.

If SATA 6gb, will probably only see massive improvement in sequential transfers and maybe slight increase in 4K.
its sata 3 6gbps .....

Crucial M4 128GB SSD

Dear all,

I am interested in acquiring one Crucial M4 128GB SSD from overseas, as it appears to be much cheaper than here.

Since I haven't done this kind of shipment via vPost, and if anyone of you is planning to buy an SSD from say, Amazon, etc., would you be so kind as to help me ship one more SSD.

Needless to say, I will share with all shipping, etc., costs.

If possible, please PM me.

Regards.
