For a 512 gb SSD usually the actual capacity is how many "GB" ?

For example a SSD 256 gb will show the capacity as 228 gb in the properties.

Wait for SItex 2014. If convergeant would be selling the mx100 512gb at $308 (based on Comex 2014), with the 20% off coupon, it would be around $246 which is even more worth it.

Crucial got so bad?
Many review and benchmark show Intel ssd v slow compared to others. I bought both Intel and Samsung Pro.. and cannot tell any difference in speed.
