We are lucky got 1 local seller selling this already hahaIf only there’s white version. Hais. The cables (even the dp to mini dp one also hard to find high quality and in white) are so troublesome to find.
I did as much due diligence as I can for me to possibly purchase oled g8 haha.Wa nice, this type of connection port so rare lol.
The seller abit fishy though, only 1 product and not responsive.I did as much due diligence as I can for me to possibly purchase oled g8 haha.
Hopefully the price goes down below 2k.

Seems like this is more convincing with 47 reviews
I am not sure there is an exchange policy with Amazon. Usually you can only choose to return and they will refund. Many thanks for sharing the experience.
For the dead pixel do you not consider return and ask for replacement since Amazon can be quite flexible on this ?
In my opinion, if you don’t care about HDR, then really no need to spend this sort of money. A good IPS monitor is likely half the cost. For productivity, I would still recommend an ultra wide 1440p monitor as it gives you more screen estate for 2 applications/ documents side by side.Used the 27M2V for almost a week, here is a quick summary:
Gaming
I play almost exclusively Dota, which doesn't really benefit from local dimming. The whole experience was sharp, colours are fine in SDR. Moving from 1440p to 2160p isn't noticeable unless I look out for it.
Work/Productivity
The high DPI is difficult for me because I use multiple screens of multiple resolutions (plugged into a laptop), and Outlook looks funky when doing that. I keep all scaling to 100% for my laptop, which is why it isn't the best experience.
That being said, I appreciate the extra windows I can now fit in smoothly.
I switch local dimming off because the movement of the mouse causes blooming, which is distracting
Movies
This is where the screen shines. HDR + Local Dimming is awesome, and I really enjoy the deeper blacks even compared to my VA panel (S3221QS). That being said, I sit away from my screen when watching shows, so the resolution isn't that noticeable.
Verdict
Depending on the games you play and the usage, you will get a different experience.
Mostly productivity and FPS/MOBAs, don't buy.
HDR games and movies, sure!
Do note I had some dead pixels - doesn't bother me, but it's there if I look for it.
Got few comparison posts in reddit. You can google it.Got 50% chance I may get Alienware aw3423 Dwf. Now waiting for comparison vs lg 45 gr95qe.
Hopefully can top up to oled g8 and give ur review hereHad a Samsung tech come to replace the panel and associated motherboard for my G8 Neo today. Same old issue still have scanlines, he told me another customer had the panel replaced 2-3 times and it still had scanlines. Not a good look at all.
Flicked them an email hoping they will let me refund or pay the difference for a G8 OLED instead, considering I did raise the issue with them the same week I received the monitor which was within the return period. They were the ones dragging on the entire issue for almost 2 months.
So far there are only comparisons with the 27 inch lg oled, not the 45 inch one.Got few comparison posts in reddit. You can google it.
It is available online to order from Gain city now with 3 years warrantyTiagong the new lg oled monitors no burn in warranty. Anyone can confirm?
Yes standard warranty is different from burn in warranty. From Reddit quite a number of people are saying that their Lg representatives told them that there would be no burn in warranty. It is available online to order from Gain city now with 3 years warranty

Yeah if never cover burn in will be a deal breaker for me. I intend to use the monitor for productivity work too. Such an expensive monitor and never cover burn in, ridiculous lol.Opps apology, you are right i got too excited saw the stock in now.
I check the LG warranty page very unlikely to cover burn in for this OLED monitor, only the high end TV G2/Z2 are covered.
