Hi all. My HUAWEI MateView GT34 just died after 3 years. Looking for a new curved monitor that is probably less than $1k.
Mainly use for work processing, watching netflix and sometime use it for gaming when my TV is occupied (PS remote play from my PS5 console).
May I know if there is any recommendation? Thank you.

Hk LG also. 3 years

https://www.lg.com/hk_en/support/warranty-terms/

Sg lg run by worst of the worst people. Jover chew side one

even their 5 year oled tv warranty, got complaints they tried to cancel by claiming physical damage

Anyway those po their 5k2k seems delivery this week.. :o
Indeed Abit envy those who got 5k2k... Originally wanted but then see warranty 1 year, high price tag and potential delay.

Hooted XG32UCWG

Shall wait for the next 45inch Tandem gloosy WOLED

Depends on what you want? That's a VA panel. Completely different from OLED. Is that what you are looking for?
Actually I don't have preference with VA or Oled. Of course if budget allows then Oled looks much better. I was looking at something under $800 which probably cant get one

I suggest you take a look at the 34" OLED and decide whether the text blurring is an issue for you. Some people notice it, some don't.

If you want an alternative, you can consider the Alienware AW3425DWM. VA panel and less than half the price of OLED.

Thanks for your recommendation

Came across the Xiaomi G34WQi 34-inch. Shopee price is $261

Review also does not seem to bad.

Any opinions about this monitor? AW3425DWM is at $485. Is the Alienware worth $200 + more ?

I'm not familiar with Xiaomi monitors. The price is really attractive though. Never thought I would see a 34" monitor at $200+.

I personally feel technology not much point waiting, cause there will always be something better on the horizon. After Tandem need wait for PHOLED liao or Tandem with some kind of MLA :o.

I just hope next G6 got 42 inch, my choice will be easier :s13:, wallet will cry though.
