So if you have neither SP4 or SP5, and want to use it just for Word processing, email and simple spreadsheets, Web browsing, Netflix.....worth saving the money and get SP4? Would save $1000

If u like to write persona 'notes' on ur pdf file, yes, get it.
If u just highlight the words, then dont get it.

Never had a problem with this. I use the pen to take notes on my Onenote with my wrist / palm resting on the screen.

There is an option on the pen setting which you can turn on.

I am using the i5 128gb 4gb ram at the moment. I face some instances where some of my tabs take about 1 sec to load when switching between tabs in Chrome. That is obviously because I only have 4gb of ram right? I have about 8 tabs open at all times.

Hi guys, my surface pro i5 2017 don’t seem to shutdown completely. It’s not my daily machine so I will full charge it and keep aside. At least 4 times when I start the device, it can’t boot due to battery flat out to 0%. Is there any issue?
