Ohnoo i have quite afew certs that i didnt upload onto the portal because i forgot about them :/ shall check if i can still upload them, thanks alot for the help!! :)
Ermm IF cannot upload already, then I think you may want to consider reaching early! That time when I reach 30mins before my interview time slot, the registration counter is already open and there is a queue there. There are around 2-3 staff attending the registration counter. The staff will get really busy at around that timing.

Just photocopy those documents that you missed out, and see if you can still pass to the staff or not (I think should be will allow de, come earlier and the possibility might be higher?). Bring the original documents too (in case they want to verify).

hello! I received the offer around one month after my interview, my GPA is 3.38 and I was not from business diploma

Woah. Cause I just went for an interview. Same, wasn't from relevant diploma with 3.35. Hope I'll be able to get it.

Rejected

I applied with my 5 semester cgpa of 3.11, with Marketing as first choice, Business Analytics as second choice and Finance as third choice. I got rejected from SUSS and it kind of sucks. :( What are my chances if I were to appeal now ? (My cgpa increaed to 3.18 after my final semester + My CCA records are not too shabby as well) From the appeal service SUSS is providing, it is stated that I can upload one document to support my appeal. Should I upload my latest results or upload something else? :o

hi! I think you should try to appeal, considering your CGPA increased! You should upload your latest results, and any other supplementary documents (you mentioned about your CCA? Is there anything else you did not upload?) - Since it allows just one more doc to upload, you can basically collate them into one word doc. I mean, that is what I'd do if I were you :) All the best!!!

Hello! For those who went for interview, for the portfolio, how did you guys submit proof of awards that come in the form of medals/trophies? Thanks! :)
If I were you, I'd list down the awards with some details in a section of my resume :) I think that would suffice. I wouldn't know any other way to document physical awards / medals etc.

Erm just wondering.. do you happen to have any working experience (or internship experience) in the business field before? If yes, that will definitely be useful! Because according to SUSS website, they choose applicants who possess traits like commitment (example: passion in that industry and determination in doing well in your course of study).

If you happen to have working experience in the business field before... they will assume that you more or less know how this field works? Despite knowing how challenging it might be.. you still choose business related course will show that you actually study with the intention to work in that sector in the future. Thus, proving the trait of commiment that they are actually looking for.

However, if you happen to study a completely different diploma.. it's okay too! Because there is a write up that you need to submit (together with a document) for appeal. You can briefly mention why is there a sudden change of course. Ermm.. probably cite things from their website like the module that they provides that actually spark your interest? Example the 24-weeks internship opportunity? (By citing info from the website shows that you understand the course that you are applying for; rather than just choosing a course for the sake of it). You can also state that you know how difficult it will be studying a completely different course but you are willing to work extra hard if you were given a chance for interview/if you enter SUSS. (This shows that you actually weigh the pros and cons of it).

CCA document is definitely very useful for appeal too! If your cca record include volunteer work, it will be an added bonus (I feel). Because there is this "Service Learning" thingy that the SUSS students needs to do! Its basically 2 years of compulsory volunteer work! Thus, during interview.. most of the interviewer tend to ask about the volunteer work that you do! So I feel.. its definitely something that the school recognize/value!

Anyway, if you decide to appeal.. I think you should do it ASAP! Because I kinda think that this entire application process is sort of based on first-come-first-serve too! [From what I understand.. my CGPA is 3.3ish and get the interview opportunity.. but if you were to apply nearer to the application deadline, you may score 0.01 higher CGPA but you might not get a chance for interview. And they are already accepting students despite interviews still ongoing. So as the seats are getting lesser, they will tend to be stricter.]

Then again, those who want to appeal.. Go ahead! Since yall don't need to pay additional money for submitting an appeal... why not just submit the document and the write up and see how it goes? Who knows, the document and write up may land you an interview opportunity (if they can see how passionate you are in the course you applied for)? And you paid $15 for application... even if you still didn't get the interview opportunity despite the appeal, you can at least tell yourself that you have tried! So no harm trying!

I think during the application, there was not much I could upload CCA wise, you were only given the option to fill up what was your CCA, what did you do etc (I was in my school's entrepreneurship club and was in the main committee. I have also attended a few pitching competitions but didn't win anything so... I'm not sure if these carry any weight at all :/) I have some Merit Leadership Award for my CCA but I could not upload it during the application! I'll definitely try to appeal!

I'm actually from Business Specializing in Banking and Finance from TP. I actually had enough of finance already ( the reason my gpa dropped from 3.3-3.4ish :( ), thats why I'm trying for Marketing now! I had my school internship over at Secretlab but I'm not sure what I can write about it since all I did there Operations, Sales and Admin duties. I'm actually also planning to start my own business in the future and is currently in midst of planning for it! Should I include this in too? :o

Yes, you can write the starting own business part as one of your reasons for choosing that course. I checked the course info for marketing, there is this section under "Integrative Course & Applied Project" stating that there are modules on business strategy that you may learn. Which definitely can link to why you want to study marketing and your dream of starting a business.

Internship can put in I guess.. maybe you can read through the course description for SUSS marketing and see if theres a link between what you did during internship with the modules that you might take in SUSS. :) or at least can put in resume with a brief description on what you did or any valuable lessons you gain through that?

It will take around 1 month (+/- a few days) after your interview. I think if you know its going to be one month after your interview date already, you can go check your portal daily (when you are free) because usually the interview results will be released on your portal first and they will only email you 1 day later :)
