Do you know if the school splits up the JD and LLB students like they do in SMU?
I missed out asking this during briefing session.

You guys have been helpful. The security studies has a july intake. It also has an admissions interview. I have no clue what questions they will ask.

I will apply for that. If I get in, settled. If I do not, then I will apply once again for the Law degree.

If I fail the 2nd time, then maybe time for me to move to Infocomm Technology or Psychology. In that order.

Edited: Just realised that the Security studies programme is only for selected few organisations. Bummer.

Coincidentally, psychology was my Plan B.
But after some thought at home, i think i might retry if rejected. Cos the grant can only take once right?
I was thinking about the $$...

Yup! Difference is JD no need take electives and can opt for an accelerated track in 4L.

LLB must complete 30 CUs worth of electives from a basket of pre-picked modules by the faculty, with Syariah Law being compulsory.

I have seen people with LNAT scores of 16 or 17 and did not even complete their LNAT essays getting into the course. My score is a good score & cannot get in. Fireduke, you got me thinking. Now I am thinking if I should re apply or go for the intelligence (security studies) course. Haizzz... .you got me thinking and you have a good heart.

Actually if you took all means you have taken the maximum load for the semester. Just for your info.

Yes. Max load permitted for any course per semester is 20 cu. So it would be a very heavy load.

From what I see, yes. According to the textbook list they sent us, 4 out of the 6 books have to be purchased from BookLink through their website. To enjoy the student discount price, we have to set up an account.

I supposed you mean course as programme.

You can request to increase the 20cu limit per semester for more cu. As long as you have good grades, you can seek head of programme approval via student support during eCR period.

Ok, so they replied me and quoted the total amount of $278.80, which I can PayNow to their hp number.. And once the books are ready, they’ll deliver to me (free delivery for purchases above $150)
So that means the indicated prices in our emails are already student rates then?

So apparently I have received a verification email from them on my student email, but after I activated my account, the website still listed their items with the usual purchase prices. I do not know if the system had even recognised my student email.

And also currently their catalogue does not contain two of the books in the list. Probably out of stock?

I have sent an email to them with regard to the two mentioned issues.

Hmm but I am surprised that we can actually purchase with PayNow with them. But I do not know the prices they are offering you are the discounted prices or normal ones.

PS: We can actually PM each other on things related to our course of study in future, if you guys are okay with it.
