SAFRA's 2024 edition of "SWIM FOR HOPE" is opened now. I had joined the individual 55km - but I would like to join a team if there is any active swimmers here.
How the thing work? What’s physical + hybrid? 55km how to physical?

I joined the virtual swim so you just swim at your convenience, at the pool of your choice, record the distance and input that into the portal.

For physical, you need to go to the SAFRA pool to swim a certain distance on a specific day - I will try to avoid since it might be crowded. For hybrid, I assume it will be virtual then swim the physical distance at a SAFRA pool.

Means 55km is impossible for physical alone… only possible for 1km distance one

55km physical swim in a day? That's is quite impossible for causal swimmers - 1km = 20 laps, this is doable.

Anyway, I think this is a good motivation for even swimming alone - for a period of 2 months (if I remember correctly), just swim and log the distance, they have a table so you can compare yourself with the rest of the swimmers.

I am aiming to swim 10km for weekdays this time around, then add in some more distance during the weekends.

2km per day? That’s good for health… if our job is sedentary

Boring. Ownself swim ownself. I prefer the old format where swimmers had to swim at safra. I remember got trophy for those who completed more than 100 laps. Now you can even ownself cheat ownself. Damn lame.safra just want to earn more money only.

1km to 1.5km swim per day is good. Have fun.

No… usually start pulling once hand entered the water
Is your shoulder feeling better? Get some rest and wishing you a speedy recovery. The steps goes like this.... Arm Entry, Hold, Pull (till five fingers pointing to the floor), Push until arm extended, Recover and repeat. Hope this help.
