swimming in public pools during weekends can be rather frustrating due to the large number of users, especially if you want to do continuous laps

But Singapore public swimming pool do not allow paddle or fins to be used in their pools right

Unless you book the lane or swimming in private club or condo pool.

Go to sentosa where there is red/yellow flag, is it designated swimming zone with lifeguard supervision...

Yes you are right. Swim in between these 2 flags. Have fun and be safe.

it depends on the day and time.... the pool can be crowded when it's used for kids' swimming lessons and dragon boat training

other than that, sometimes a whole bunch of guys from the energyone gym will suddenly appear.... but they usually don't stay for long

Hi,

I would like to offer free freestyle/butterfly pointers for up to 5 persons each session on every Saturday, 6 P.M. Location at Civil Service Club, Tessensohn Rd. Just pay entrance fee of $1.

I am only doing freestyle/front crawl as it is most efficient in terms of health benefits. Please note, I have zero knowledge of breast/back stroke. During my heyday I managed 26 seconds freestyle and 28 seconds fly per length. Now I swim everyday just for health benefits.

do you have issues with your current goggles? finding out what kind of design suits your face and head shape is the most important step.

basically, good goggles should:

• fit well to prevent leaks
• not have any pressure points that could cause discomfort
• have anti-fog properties
• appropriate tint/mirror coating/polarized layer for the lighting condition
