I used Optus during my stay. They got a 2.5GB for 5days plan(or 500MB/day, min.5days) which I took up meaning you can use 2.5GB of data within the 5days.
how much does that cost?

has anybody done the walks in around sydney harbour national park?
from the map... the national park is spread across various parts around the harbour so i wanna find out at which part can we get the better/best scenery?
currently thinking of doing the walk from the zoo along the coast to the middle head area...
i will be there for around 7 days... so i can buy $10+2+2 ah?
thought they may have minimum denominations
The walk you are thinking of would be good.
You look out west and you can see the harbour bridge + opera house.
You look out east and you can see the harbour with South Head in the distance.
You cannot top up in $2 denominations.
Not sure if there's a $15 top-up, but that should be closest to what you require (7 days x $2).
If you won't use your data much, you can even consider opting for the $1/day plan which gives you 40MB a day.

is it worth it to get the MyMulti travel pass?

depends on how many days you will be there and how often do you take the public transport.
I'm going in August and based on my research, seems like Sydney is good to walk... hahhaa.. I'm staying near Museum Station, so for me I'm taking the OPAL card -- https://www.opal.com.au/en/fares-and-benefits/ as I will be walking almost everywhere.
Daily cap at $15 and $2.50 for Sundays. Weekly cap Mon to Sun is $60. So it's even cheaper than MyMulti3.
Note that the Airport Link Gate Pass (station access fee) is to be paid separately... and does not count towards the daily cap for OPAL cards.
i will reach sydney on thursday and leave sydney the next wednesday... so i guess i can't make use of the weekly cap benefit of opal? unless they only start the week from the point you got your card or smth like that...
if dont plan to go out to blue mountains, dont have to get mymulti3 right? or are there any major areas/spots that mymulti3 can bring me to?
thanks for the comments!
yea i saw that it allows me to go on the manly ferry but i think that it's unlikely i'll be going to the manly area for walks...I notice 1 other difference is being allowed to use for the Manly Ferry.
I can't remember how much the ferry ride to Manly costs.
Yes Wednesday to Thursday means opal card limit doesn't really work to your advantage.

the only likely place that i'll be taking ferry to is to the zoo...
wad about other major/popular spots by train besides blue mtns?
