Yes the article date is on purpose.

As you can see, Syfe Select is officially launching on 9 Sep 2021.

But for all these weeks beforehand, Syfe has been preparing the publicity material leading up to the big day.

A very cheeky technique by their marketing team is to back-date their articles way back in time so that the user wont see Syfe Select articles straight in your face.

For the past 1 month, Syfe has already sneaked a preview of Select & Custom via their FAQ. You may access all these "2019" articles on Select / Custom via their FAQ.

Syfe had given me early access both Syfe Select and Syfe Select Custom since early August.

I used the opportunity on the closure of Global ARI to hence re-organise my investments and have enough for Select.

Deliberately waited until the turn of August to start my Syfe Select Portfolios even though I could start earlier.

I am currently invested in all 5 Themes, $500 each. Deliberately hope to be a user to accurately benchmark performance counting from the launch date and from 1st day of the month.

I wont explore the Custom side for now - until I can earn more $$.

I keep in close touch w my appointed Wealth Advisor - whose the Head Of Investment Advisory. Am sure u know/can figure who ;)

Syfe can get quite engaging and transparent with their closer-knit clients if you sustain your network strong enough.

Btw, I dont really have a strong devotion to any specific theme per se. But I'm big on experiencing as much robo as I can for now. Hence I had to have all 5 Themes.

I found out about this the day I liquidated my sREITs to join Endowus single fund offering. Was curious if it might be good enough to draw me back to Syfe.

Nope!

Out of all the ETFs offered, 2 are UCITs compliant. Which means for most equity ETFs focused in the US, we pay more taxes.

Out of curiosity, I looked at their commodities ETFs.
For gold, they offer GLD (ER of 0.40) as opposed to GLDM (ER of 0.18)

Sorry, not convinced.

(Edit: Also, they won't rebalance your portfolio for you....)

Thanks for listing the 5 themes, I can see Syfe offering them today 6 Sept.

But looks like unable to see the underlying TER expense for the themes, as well as DIY mix-&-match.

And will Syfe give any trailer fee rebate?
