Not gonna even use syfe for usd items cos recently i learnt that when i transfer funds (i m not using dbs) from syfe to my uob - its TT fees is enormous!! Hated it to the max

What TT fees? I thought they only convert from USD to SGD? Still got TT fees?

But Syfe can select up to 8 ETFs with one fees mah.. am I wrong ?

It's the same leh. Fees are in percentages. If you have 8 ETFs, the same ETF and Syfe fees multiply by 8.

I don’t get it by ur one off fee, such etf still gotta pay yearly de mah..

Syfe fees are recurring, FSM brokerage is one off.

is this a surprise? they even show me the invoice breakdwn by DBS to my UOB (i shared this in the Robo thread too!!)

& i clearly stated it is rather obvious - if it is 4 most of the skts/etfs we will use broker / moomoo....
a robo is just a robo 4 newbie to hve an ez life .... was puzzled when u claimed to avoid sch fees , u wanna fsm 1st then revert to Robo...Usu it is Robo then diy yourself w broker

I m also nt sure why do u only Fsm - u getting loads of UTs?

For those who can only pick and time 1 etf/stks only at each time (but will do so for newer choice later)? Moomoo

- so nothing much to thk and ponder over

I mention before I got UT since year 2000. I approach age 50. So ETF will be more like complement as some ETF stocks duplicate with the UT I have. So most likely the ETF will be theme tactical play not those s&p 500 normal kind.

I am talking about FSM ETF RSP where you put 50 every month test water buy into the ETF. This approach will have fractional shares so the same program allow you to sell fractional shares at flat 1 SGD, 5 HKD fees. I use this to test water

No, u dunno percentages? It's still 0. 6+0.75 =1.35%, assuming it's fund ER is 0.75%. If u select 1 fund and put in 1000, cost is 13.5 per year. If youvselect 8 funds and put in 1000 each, cost is 1.35% x 8 x 1000.

Just like other brokers also will not bill u for that
