host cancelled, said ceasing operations. dafuq. dunnoe real or not. his other rooms still listed, just the room I booked taken down.

guess I will stick to hotels in future.

yeah. seeked cso help le. they only offer additional 10% of original booking, which is like less than Sgd30, if I book another listing from them. No more cheap n convenient listing liao. I re-booked other hotels at robert's prices

travel insurance dont cover this...

Anw what you mean by 10% of original booking? So if you book $100, Airbnb refund you $110?

tks. booked multiple hotels. total ard 1.5k. original airbnb booking was 278.

correct in some sense. like my booking 278, refund will be 278. if rebook w another listing on airbnb n cost above 278, then will get another airbnb credit 27 (round down somemore...).

Omg! Such a huge diff. How much per night stay at xmd area for hotels now?

That is a huge minus.
Luckily not because u there then they chut stunt.
But seriously i think they may have listed price wrongly, thus rather pang sey u and see can hook up another at double the price, at most ratings another time to get more stars. One star against double their earning, why not?

initially chose airbnb cos their listing on www hostel webs sold out. shld have went w reliable hotels back then. now end up paying more when it was not a last minute trip is so infuriating. if all airbnb hosts can suka like tt chu pattern n not held responsible, doubt I ever using airbnb. airbnb like bo chap also. oh wells. lesson learnt bah...

Tell CSO, what is 10% rebate/discount when now u are paying literally more than 100% more?
Think they will offer you more back.
