Omg! Such a huge diff. How much per night stay at xmd area for hotels now?

xmd price hike not tt bad. cant rmb offhand cos i not staying there. i wanted to stay near taipei main station/ somewhere easy to get back to on countdown night. these are highly popular areas, 6mths ago when i planning my trip almost all gd location n relatively cheap places all gone liao. so imagine how much those available cost now

Tell CSO, what is 10% rebate/discount when now u are paying literally more than 100% more?
Think they will offer you more back.

tell them liao. they only offered usd 100 coupon back n said tt's e best they can do. coupon valid 1yr but doubt i gg to use them. at least not for peak peroid trips. haiz.

my friend went there for countdown lol
3* hotel at xmd , usual abt 100sgd, becomes 250sgd per nite
can stay 5* hotel in singapore liao lol ...
even royal plaza also about 172sgd per nite if offpeak lol ...

oh well. avoiding airbnb le. hahaha.

looking fw to the concert! I think my hotel can c fireworks, but behind glass.

gt what gd spots to rec? gd view of 101 fireworks and can see concert screens at least.

At least you settled your accommodations alr. Looking forward to the countdown too!

its crazy. i'd rather spend the night sleeping in the streets then pay $3-400 for a room for a few hours.
think even if i go cinema sleep also can save a lot.

15-16deg now. If there's wind, will be quite cold. But so far okay. Good weather. Yesterday some drizzling though.
