Hi will be there from 31st dec to jan 8 with my frens.
4 of us in a share apartment near raohe night market.
last year was at taipei 101.
it's darn crowded and the lines at the clubs are way too long.
got a hard time getting a cab back to xmd last yr, cab price was double the usual price.
Cya all around. lol
it's very easy to spot a singaporean when you are overseas...

haha. back, I went there at 4pm and had a really good view since most of the taiwanese only came around 6pm after their work.

What I am more surprised is their transport arrangements after the event. Saw people queuing to take mrt but there are actually bus shuttles to bring u to major stations. I was following the crowd aimlessly when I saw signboards pointing to these bus shuttles. By luck I found the one that goes to Taipei Main Station, and managed to board one without queuing or waiting. Even got seats. The ride was fast and smooth and I was dropped off near my hotel. It was quite a pleasant experience considering the scale of this event.
