Honestly with such the price to charge for a "japanese ramen" in Sinkapor, Takagi is quite ok in terms of quality liao. You cannot compare it with the ichiran, rokurinsha or any atas ramen restaurant here.

Compared to Takagi, Ajisen is the worst. Expensive but quality is dropping by a lot. Sgd 17-20 per meal I would expect a better quality of ramen lah. Takagi is < 9 sgd, for that I would have more lenient judgement to its quality.
You never know if they used such ramen at the back.

Jurong branch not good. One north branch is okay though. Like what many posters here said. It's not consistent in food standard

They will introduce. Like marutama and santouka.

Can also check online to fact check
If he introduced himself as Uchida San, 4th generation ramen master, ya.... you will know immediately if he's a fraud

Is takagi ramen nice ?
The price is very very cheap. Food in SG is so cheap .
I actually like their rice with egg-mayo and a piece of Japanese char siew combo. Cheap and good and it's a decent lunch.

Their onigiri well is a disappointment. Quite bland and tasteless and little fillings.
