Saw the C935 in flash ..... was thinking of this over LG65C2. Does not seem to be worth the $180 difference. Not an expert but OLED still looks too much better than the C935

For TV's above $2,000, the free gift is air purifier. Below S$2k, is soundbar.

If you forgo the air purifier (via bargaining), they can reduce price by $100. Even then, price is still high in my opinion.

I'd like to 2nd this...the TCL pricing is really very unattractive, so i'm leaning toward the U8H now....

But the use of IPS panel (and consequently poor contrast ratio) for the U8H is a worry for me....i'm ok with Vidaa since i am using starhub box anyways, so no issue...

Actually the direct comparison of U8H is C825 not C835 as C835 is 144hz, but if you dont need that 144hz then maybe look at C825.

Recently i got my C835 55'' at 1899 at comex but i think you wan more competitive pricing can go down their showroom and see whether got better pricing, if C825 is still 1899 i personally think is not worth it and will go for the U8H but then again i prefer google tv as is easier for me to install apk that i use frequently or that is from China.
