I think best is to reference one model n set expectations of color n contrast n budget before going on this journey. Else it’s crazy to benchmark a top of the line abc Korean jap or China counterpart n then try to best it .
I suppose use the model n size u set your eyes on n then compare to others to see if they are better than what u are willing to pay May be a useful exercise

Yeah especially between the 2 is va and ips. Viewing angle can be an issue for those who not only seat directly and want to also watch from dining area etc.

Hi i have bought a 65inch tcl tv in Jul2022 and now there is an issue with the tv. I.e. powered on only to quickly become black screen. Anyone has experience dealing with TCL's aftersale service? Would they be able to send a technician on site to fix the issue? Thank you

Which model ? It’s on site warranties like prism+ I think if u look at the Lazada ads .. self carry 65” to the repair center may be tough lol

Even 2200 for a 65" isn't bad

just saw TCL Shopee, seems like C825 mini led 65" is out of stock now, the 75" is $2949 tho, if you have additional voucher to claim its still quite a good deal for such a big size TV. they are having some brand day promo now where you can get free soundbar or air purifier, can go check it out

if you bought from giant, you would have to check with alphavision (reseller) for the warranty. TCL official only covers warranty if you purchase from their official stores (shopee, lazada, etc.)

TCL sold at giant under alpha visions
Can call them at 66114157

first year covered.. 2nd and 3rd transport not covered I think.. bought 2021 was asked to pay transport only.. waiting for them to come by next week
They didn’t ask to see my receipt

4-6 hrs a day..
just got mine fixed..
technical uncle says 1 side of the panel is dead, so did some workaround to transfer power from other side.. not perfect solution.. end up left side has some scan lines

Yours within one year cover under full warranty right? Mine coming 3rd yr, only cover labour, transport and parts have to pay. So I decide to throw away

You have pre-production firmware M145....T615T03 platform (GTV).
I suggest to flash V440 IMG file first , to be back to normal "V" firmware.
Then, you can update with V462 or latest V469.
