Hi, I am consider buying tcl s65a 40 inch or Hisense a40 as price for TCL is slightly lower now like $20 lower. Which will be a better buy?this is to replace my old sharp lcd TV 32 inch in bedroom

it seem that local TCL dont really bring in the R6 series due to roku tv, if not i would have go for the R646 but got parallel import with 1 year warranty

like some of you here, I am comparing between 65" C835 and Hisense's U8H.

both is mini-led, couldnt find a place to do a side by side comparison. currently 9.9 sales:
C835 - ~$1950
U8H - ~$1850

does vida OS has mewatch already? vidaa OS is surprisngly smooth, probably even faster than google tv OS. just that TCL Tvs can act as a "smart speaker" because of the built-in far field mic.

c835 is 144hz , u8h is 120hz, no place to see side by side comparison, better to go down each showroom and feel which one more suitable for you.

Same, conflicted about the 2. Prefer ips over tcl va so can watch tv from dining room (maybe 30 degree angle). But tcl got google tv so don’t need buy android box, as I use chromecast and smartubenext app.

Only complaint is that the installer damaged my wall Broke one of the tv screws took 2 hours to install a bluddy tv. Got the C825

Difficult to compare. Specs in US and Singapore is different for Hisense.

Luckily I have not commit. Now that I decided to go for 75 inch will wait to see the price first. 99 65 inch was able to get $1948 after applying vouchers, very close to hisense u8h. So its a no brainer for people to go tcl instead because of more dimming zones to hisense and google os.

These features are good, but bear in mind, it's always good to see what the images look like before you decide..
