I tried contacting TCL but no reply from them yet... tried the live chat with agent but they asked me to contact the seller directly cos they are using their own fleet to deliver

even if use and throw mindset, if you never read T & C carefully and buy the cheaper model which have only 1st or 2nd year full warranty....then also bang ball when find out need to pay if anything spoil within the first 3 years.
If they have a use and throw mentality, can last beyond 1 year, they happy liao hahah

Normal la. A couple of my Lazada purchases also showed "Delivered" status even when item not delivered yet. Just wait a while & it'll be delivered. LOL

I have a C655 bought in Sept 24.
Right now, the screen keeps going black or blank with sound in the background.
I have just emailed and whatsapp to them, let's see what is the best that they can come up with.

After reading so many horror stories from TCL Singpore especially on reddit, i guess i am shying away from China branded TVs.

Got myself a C655 instead of an LG because of the price. Bought TV in Sept 24, last Thursday they collected to find out what was wrong with my TV. Today's update might be a firmware issue. Still checking for the issue. No spare tv for me to watch for the time being.

Did i regret my decision??? All I can say is... I wanted to go cheap, but i cannot expect a Sony quality.

That being said, i have a Coolermaster 17" 180MHZ 1440p monitor, it kaput within a year still under 3 years warranty. Offered me $150 for another Monitor similar specs... My take is... i rather save $150 and get something more reliable.

Is this common practice in Singapore? Our Lemon Law and consumer laws really suck.

Relax la bro. Let me maybe put things into perspective

(1) 1 year tcl sells how many tv and a few complaint here and there means totally cui? Samsung phone users also complain got green line and Apple users complain phone bending. Means cannot buy?

(2) Tons of comments saying tcl service is poor. If today “China service” or “Singapore dealer service” is good, then I will be extremely worried. When Apple authorised dealer service iPhones and mac, ppl also complain like mad. I own Sony, Samsung tv before, also need to wait a week or 2 for spare parts. So far I used 3 Xiaomi tv and all spoiled after 3 years. I used 1 Hisense for 2 years and still working. I sold to another person and he used for 1 year + still ok. This is my first TCL tv and I have used it for about 6 months. If **** then I will share with bros here

I am facing a similar situation with TCL, I also bought TCL C825 65 inch TV in Mar 2022. The TV started to act up in 2024, in July the screen started to have black lines and TCL CS confirmed it will be replaced. I have followed up with them a few times on whatsapp but always got the same answer that the replacement TV is being processed but always pending.

I did not get a loaner TV btw. In late Dec, the TV screen finally failed and upon checking with the TCL CS, they offered me these two options below, I have rejected them but wonder what can I do now. Waiting for the replacement TV that may never come? Or submit to CASE or Small Claim Tribunal but according to your research, there is no such TCL Singapore Company?!?

Hi, thank you for your patience. Understand that we are unable to repair your original TV, the C825 65", and the replacement is still pending, here are two options we can offer to assist:
1. Replacement Option: We can provide you with a brand-new TV equivalent to the remaining warranty amount of $466.44 (calculated as $2099/36 months × 8 months remaining). Please note that the replacement TV may not be the same size as your original, and the warranty will continue from your current warranty period.
2. Offset Option: You may use the remaining warranty amount as a credit to offset the purchase of a new TV.
Please let us know if any of the alternative options above interest you, so we can assist you in resolving this matter as quickly as possible.

TCL finally contacted me via WhatsApp and told me the replacement TV is ready. It’s a Refurbished C935 according to the CS, and will be delivered next Monday. From last July till May, it’s a 10 months wait!!
