As for Psychology, I won't say that it's difficult. But some reading from the textbk is needed as you have 11 quizes to attempt (1 per wk).. As for project, It's to come up with a 1 min act, using all the concepts you've learnt.. Lastly, there's IGS test..
(this is based on what I've gone through last sem)

Overall, a bit of time is needed, that's all! You're taking this as your last CDS already? Then you should be in your yr 3 I guess.. ?

Woah!! socio oni 8 quiz. Yup last CDS, next sem 2.2, 3 sems down, 3 to go. 1 minute ACT! I rather have a presentation than have an act. I not drama student but engr how If pick wrong CDS screw it up GPA will confirm drop..

it is group project, but the grading is Mostly on ur individual work(content), very little on teamwerk(as in neatness of the gp report)

Thats good if possible all is individual like law which i took last sem. Hate groups..

no projects!
can score A easily

if you're interested, can take basics of nutrition too
very easy as well.. scored Z for that last yr

Mm.. It all depends on individual.. I guess for most CDS, no matter how easy is the workload, still some time must be reserved for it. If not, it'll have impact in your GPA, as you mentioned.

Next sem 2.2? Sorry, curious.. When the sch re-open, you should either be 2.1 or 3.1 rite...? Or did I remember wrongly? Should be having attachment soon I guess..

Maybe getting offered higher engine maths, so now planning which CDS and if I can squeeze the maths in.

I'm in electronics, our SIP supposed to be in 2.2 but they changed it to 3.1. So now our 3.1 seniors will be doing theory and we will doing it with them. Bigger cohort, more chances for Zs

Mm... I see.. Don't worry, so long you work hard here, it's the same.. I'm from sch IT. 27cu can be pretty tough, and the max CU for IT student to take per sem is 28 (and it's already a challenge for us). So, if you're taking the additional subject, guess you'll need a good time management.. There's grades for your SIP? We don't have it here, only Pass or Fail...

Lecture is only an hour long (usually the case)

Workload? First yr will be alright.. more in yr two..

Laptop is not necessary if you were to ask. I've not own one in my three yrs there. In lecture, at most I'll see 1 or 2 using only.. cos lecture is only an hr long..

Mm.. I'm not sure abt Business student... usually it's not necessary..

You can check it out with the school... Sorry, unable to help much here. But I believe that it's not necessary, unless it's like RP where they specify that it's a must that every student owns one..

You wish to loan a laptop from TP? Guess they used to have the scheme.. but think it still exist?.. Have not loan it before..

Definitely it's more convenient.. But if financially you're able to buy one, it'll be better than loaning from TP..

while there is no need to own a laptop, its a plus to have one. Just wait till the whole world is using the one and only database server and it crashes. Or the times when the whole course is rushing for projects and no more free labs to use.

Of cos if u can get the programs to use on ur pc than all the better.
