i skipped the orientation cos i thot it was a waste of my time.

Hello, I have enrolled in TP's Oct intake as Intelligent Building Technology (IBT).

BTW, is it alright to skip orientation camp?

same .....i don't really wish to participate too....but our student matric card is collected at orientation day...from what they say at the guide.

So the question now is....is the student matric card important? What are the uses of it.

Playing games not my type leh...1 day nvm ..make until 5 days overnight somemore...i ord from ns still want me stay in "camp" ....make love there ar? Can make love i join 1week also can

I think different school(Business, IT, Design, Engineering) have different orientation program so some maybe fun some maybe very boring. Anyway, orientation is not compulsory but it's fun in some way. There's alot of games which I think people will enjoy. Actually you can just go for it, halfway through if you find it boring u can actually find excuse to leave, they will not stop you.

Wah, the camp is getting longer and longer. Last time mine is only day camp for 3 days i think. I went for the 1st day only. haha! Anyway, Matric card can be collected on the first day of school. But you need to know your student ID in order to login to the system to print out your time table. So if you dont feel like going, you can actually called up the office and ask for your ID and password.

From apr intake. You can skip the orientation; one of my classmate skip the 3-day orientation and the student id and pass is actually ur matric card's serial number so you no need to call the office for it

Edit: They may ask you to purchase some lecture notes and tell you which textbooks to buy on orientation day
