Dear friend,

I started this thread to let us share our CPU & GPU idle and load running temperature here. So that we could help each other in cooling solutions.

NOTE : Please ALWAYS indicate your ambient / room temperature that those readings are taken.

Thanks.

My rig ...

Room temperature : 29degC, non aircon

29x0kn.jpg

But my GPU temperature seems high.

Previously when I was using the GTX460 ... the idle temperature is about 3-5degC higher than room temperature.

Anybody else having EVGA GTX680 4GB also can advice the idling temp?

Temps are recorded after I ran 3D mark, intel burn test and Kombuster.
Non aircon
Ambient temp ard 29 degrees.

I can say Im pretty disappointed with my CPU temps which is cooled by my H100i and ECO240 previously...
With settings turboboost and speedstep disabled, yet temps can reach so high.
With those enabled it can actually hits 90+ degrees :(

Quite happy with my GPU temps though.

You are using the H100 water cooling for your CPU right? And the temp seems high indeed.

But your GPU temp is not bad. And my GPU temp is worst than yours.

Could you post a screenshot running HW Monitor instead?

Like that we can see much info.

Since i dont OC much anymore thats why never really bothered by the temps.
My GPU is cooled by TT extreme 2.0 so the temps are much expected.

What is the gfx card you are using? One of your gfx card has similar idle temp as my Evga GTX 680 4GB.

Top card is MSI Lightning. 2nd card is EVGA 680 FTW. But the FTW is water cooled, thats why the temp is lower than lightning. At full load during BF3, the 2nd card wont even hit 60c.

I would suggest TS suggest to use HWInfo instead of HWM.
HWInfo is much updated often and has more readings. :D

All stock clock. Typical SG room temp.

My Evga GTX680 4GB FTW runs about 45degC at room temp about 29degC seems normal I supposed. Which water cool solution are you using to cool it?
