You can consider decreasing term insurance for protection of ur mortgage. It is available with all insurers. I'm from Prudential, there's Prumortgage which might suits your need.

Hi all,

I'll an AXA ilp which I would like to surrender, is there anyone able to help me? Reason mainly I'm in financial difficulties and would like to cash out at this point in time after which I would just take a simple term insurance.

Another question, most likely AXA would issue me a cheque but can I request a cash cheque or to my mother's name or to my name but don't want the top to be crossed, reason cos I do not have any bank account in my name at the moment of time due to personal reason.

Hope someone kind enough to help me :)

There is a form to print out for surrendering the ilp. You just need to fill in the details and send it in along with the copy of the policy thereafter.

Usually the cheque are issued in the name of the person, shouldn't be crossed

Hi. Need some advise. I'm having 3 prudential policies total monthly about $270. Cover death, CI and TPD. I was advise to take up SAF term but i covers until age 65, is this coverage enough? Is my sufficient and consider cheap?

How much are you covered for? seems like a participating policy and u will probably get penalised if you cancel it.

What are the three policies you have with Prudential? How much is the coverage?

This should be spoken to the insurance agent...just meet them out on a weekend and they will explain and show you the quote...

I recently cancelled an ILP, they will issue you a cheque in about 1 week. I went down to their office in Tampines and cancelled over the counter took about 15minutes.
