They crazy they earn crazy money if not they lose crazy money lor

That's what i am saying, no? I was merely responding to someone who asked if they should buy tesla at today's price. I just gave my view. Not sure what your problem is though....

how can a news of a pandenic which has thousands of death dissapear? Not when hospital are at capacity and people dying left right and centre like europe in may

i didnt say the virus gonna disappear.
i said...it will just disappear from the news cycle.
the virus will become seasonal.....ultimately becoming another flu.

death rate of covid from every country has drastically dropped.....simply because those who wouldve died from the flu....got killed by covid instead:o

so whoever remains are much less susceptible to it.

but the weekly FUD from virus will remain with us and affect stock prices now and then all the way until november after US presidential elections.

from there on.....it will be fogotten by all american media :o

I did a stupid move, sold Tesla at $1490 while the price was still shooting up .
Convention assessment with TECH stocks is wasting time.

Why all the TECH stocks are climbing higher high, people use it to shield the pandemic economy erosions.

Will buy back next week.

I think its better to keep the stock and ride the wave up until tesla is included in the s&p index and when the big funds are forced to buy into tesla....

I bought at 800+ sold at 1050. Then cursed myself coz it went up to $1500. But then again i didn't have the crystal ball. But going in now at 1500 might be a gamble. I don't think its realistic for its share price to go up like it did before. I think this price increase is driven by FOMO and short squeeze.

But covid is more infectious than the common flu and so much more complications than the common flu. For e.g. covid virus can survive on tabletops, chairs, objects for up to 20 days. Flu virus can't do that. Also you won't get brain damaged from common flu or your lungs won't collapse from normal flu. But you do with Covid. You can't sleep of Covid like you can with a flu. Sooner or later hospitals are going to be filled to the brim. Then how? They have no choice but to lock down.

3 factors are driving the price higher each day.
1) Positive qtr earning
2) S&P500 inclusion
3) Battery Investment Day

Buy into Tesla before its too late.
Don't react against the momentum.

But all 3 you listed hasn't even happened yet. Q2 results is not out yet. Elon never said that tesla will make a profit in Q2. S&P inclusion is a speculation that most analyst said. Its not a given. Battery investment day is in Sept. Still a some time away. At these current price, all 3 factors have already been "priced-in" anyway. Remember, prices has ran up from the lows of $300+ in march to $1500 today. That is 5x. Nasdaq has no 5x its index....

You're right that nobody has a crystal ball. But isn't speculation the whole idea behind stocks and markets in the first place?

When you buy, you're essentially speculating as you believe that the price will go up and profit. When you sell, you think the ticker has run it's course, has no more room to grow or the price will drop in the future.

Literally nobody is arguing that TSLA is drastically overvalued currently based on TA alone. When a stock defies TA, it's simply about momentum, probability and trends.

Even the biggest of TSLA bears have already given up shorting it as they were burnt badly. $18B to be exact. Unless you like flushing money down the toilet or have balls of steel, nobody sane would short TSLA now against such hype and momentum.

Only retail investors suffer from FOMO. Fund managers and institutions take calculated risks and simply follow the money. Big funds are behind the run up from 1k to 1.5k because the probability of TSLA blowing away Q2 earnings and being included in S&P500 is high. They did it during Q1 when their factories were shut down and the FUD of the pandemic was at it's peak, why would they not in Q2? As simple as that. You have to get in early to make money. If you wait for confirmation of good news and catalysts, there's nothing left to be made.

Nobody is selling because from now till then, the only way is up unless something drastic and unexpected happens. Possible profit taking may only happen AFTER that. Still, the chances are low. Anyone holding S&P500, which is a huge number of people as it's the most popular index, are forced to buy into TSLA. It will drive the prices up even more.

Bears have been shouting TSLA bubble since 500s, 600s, 700s, 800s, 900s and missing out on massive gains. Bulls have made a fortune on the way up. It's up to you to pick a side, DYODD and manage your risks/rewards.

I don't think that was a stupid move. If it makes you feel better, I bought at 300+ sold it at 800+
