What exactly does this car company do that other car companies cannot copy?
If it's a tech company and if it's worth current valuation won't other tech company eventually come in to the same industry to eat it's lunch?
How much dividend or share buyback do you foresee this company return from today to 2030?
There must be a price that you feel it's overvalued and undervalued, so what's the price you feel it's undervalued to buy and what price will you sell?

Cisco Systems was a market darling in 1990s but if one didn't value it properly and buy it at the top, it never got back to the same share price in the next 15years(excluding dividends).

Well, to be fair, Tsla does have its moat. It is not "just" a car company. It has other applications that could open up endless other possibilities. Like their electric batteries which are at least a couple of generations better than its competitors which could potentially have other applications. Its auto drive fuction which have other AI applications. Now they are even going into medicine. Then there is space x program. Selling electric cars is only one of many other potential product offering.

And these technology are not easily replicated. Its like their 11 herbs and spices

New Gen Thinking.

Both no right no wrong.

Only Market will tell whose right or wrong.

Tesla is also a solar, battery and AI company.

Don't forget that even Apple tried to make an Apple Car with self driving but failed in that.

There’s a lot of moat. I’ll just name a simple one. If I get a Porsche taycan, I will need another car as the taycan can only drive around my house area due to lack of charger network. With Tesla I just need one car and I can go anywhere in US due to their super charger network.

Holding till tesla is officially added into s&p and major funds have bought it.

the whole world and the world's mom already know telsa is goingt o be added into S&P.

u think fund managers are exceedingly stupid to buy high only after its added? they front run u a long, long, long time ago.

I think index funds wouldn't have added it right? e.g. those S&P500 index funds

there are people already saying that the current price of Tesla already factored in S&P500 price already. so even after Tesla enters S&P500, the price might remain the same. if it increases, its those FOMO who buy.

Perhaps you are referring to those private or hedge fund managers. For funds that tracks the s&p index, wont this cause an error if those managers have been secretly adding tesla into their portfolio?
