Tesla is a forward looking company like Apple. The ability of overtaking the so called incumbent leader in various technology sector is crazy.

Think this one will be over most people's head. Rate of innovation for Tesla is more important than just the innovation. They reducing battery cost across the entire product chain, raw material innovation, battery design innovation,thermal management, integration (airplane structural fuel tank is good analogy). Other battery cell manufacturers are pursuing hard to achieve and not cost effective solutions, solid state battery etc.
Elon presentation skills sucks though if it is Steve jobs he will mucham dragon phoenix, 2nd coming of Jesus all come out already.

Elon is an engineer first, politician second.
Jobs is politician first, engineer second.

Still, he should've practiced in front a mirror before talking to shareholders who base everything on appearances. He sounded too nervous and jittery, can rub them the wrong way. If Jobs had presented instead of Elon, stock price would probably have gone up :o

25k electric cars by 2020, FSD by 2017, 1m robotaxis by 2020, etc etc. Elon Musk is like the king of overpromising/undelivering and you are comparing him to Steve Jobs? :s13:

His timeline not always right. His too ambitious anyway he never says 25k car by 2020, that was thw model3 which is crappy manufacturing due to over automation and not enough experiences. Model Y was delivered ahead of time after they learn their mistakes and buy over Grohmann. Fsd level 3 not 5 again your info is misleading was delayed cause they realised nvidia chip wasn't good enough. Where you get the info 1m robotaxis by 2020? I think you read some info and infer your own biasness. You are sounding like those plp in wall street... The real king of overpromising is Trevor Milton of Nikolea.
