MUFG will have 2nd round interview with the hiring manager if the HR thinks you are suited for the role. The first round is with their HR.
How is the interview? Quite curious how Jap banks works (e.g. culture/ structure etc)

ok i guess. Short 20 min chat. Was really rusty in my interview skills. Yesterday with another japanese firm was the first I had in nearly 6 years. How is the interview? Quite curious how Jap banks works (e.g. culture/ structure etc)

Culture wise, they seem to be improving. more multinational so less of a jap culture
Actually CS can be broken down into multiple roles (e.g. SOC/ CTI/ CSIRT/ CS PMO/ Cyber Awareness etc.)any idea previous batches usually avg 1 FI has how many slots?

Which FI is big boy? All FI look big n rich to me.it depends from FI to FI, some only have single digit across all tracks that they picked. some big boys absorbed like close to 20 from 1 area like cloud or Security. this was in 2020 but likely similar to happen this year for that big boy. but don't expect all to be residing within a single team, it will be scattered across anyways.. so this question should not matter.
I only started learning Kali Linux. But for cyber, the spectrum is super wide and each specialization goes very deep too.Just wanted to ask you guys, how many of you who are going through the interviews have been doing your own Kali hacking or labs in your free time? I've only been doing the Sec+ theory for cybersecurity and it seems like it's not enough.
Can share if the big boy FI is local or foreign bank?it depends from FI to FI, some only have single digit across all tracks that they picked. some big boys absorbed like close to 20 from 1 area like cloud or Security. this was in 2020 but likely similar to happen this year for that big boy. but don't expect all to be residing within a single team, it will be scattered across anyways.. so this question should not matter.
I did Parrot OS for iLabs for CEH, it is similar to Kali Linux. iLabs is using web browserI only started learning Kali Linux. But for cyber, the spectrum is super wide and each specialization goes very deep too.
I guess what stuff to learn as a start depends on the cyber role u are going into..
Same, went through a few interviews and find it no different from a normal job application. Feels like the expectations of FI and IBF can be quite blur.Actually, after going through some interviews, i feel that the interview is not really for new comer for career change, more like normal job interview application process. None is easy, many have tech questions. Does anyone share the same thoughts?
Yup, the problem is expectation on you will be high and then they will expect you to do more than the job scope. You can't quit too due to contract. If such things happened, not sure is there a channel to feedback?Same, went through a few interviews and find it no different from a normal job application. yeah, felt quite jaded after a few interviews. and the track i interviewed for is those considered less technical roles (i.e Agile project management)Actually, after going through some interviews, i feel that the interview is not really for new comer for career change, more like normal job interview application process.
