Opted for DBS/Mizuho for AI and GS/Mizuho for DA.

Based on past posts, seems like Mizuho hasn't started contacting candidates?

I believe DBS got call u up for pre-selection interview right?
Another fellow forumer and myself had a call from DBS this week.

I did apply to Mizuho AI too, so far they didn’t call me. Lol.

at least you still have Deutsche bank going for you. furthermore, your preferred FIs for CC track may still call you up. So, don't give up and keep going. YNWA.

i just got a call from dbs about 6pm before heading out for evening run. i think i m really lucky that dbs hr called me up for the 2nd interview next week, given that there are many strong or even better candidates who applied.

so near but yet so far. really need to pray hard now. lol.

I got an email from dbs for AI track, telling me I've been shortlisted and will get a call. But I didn't get a call at all.

Didn't choose any other tracks for dbs.

hi jy4p33, i m puzzled by the fact that you received a dbs email for interview but u didn't get a call for pre-selection interview and then received a rejection email.

perhaps, you would like to email back and check with them nicely that you didn't receive an interview call as stated in the email (i mean how to reject when u didn't even get at least a phone interview, right?).

By the way, why did majority choose DBS, isn't the competition there quite fierce? And what sort of questions did DBS ask you other than tell me about yourself. The interview i had asked about myself, why I choose TFIP, my knowledge on cloud computing and how do i continue to seek this career path in months to come.

dbs only offers ai track right from the start to the close of application. most importantly, there are only 3 FIs (dbs, deutsche, mizuho) offer ai tracks (citi only comes in much later). as for other tracks, there are more than 10 FIs per track offerings. applying the rule of demand and supply on the ai track, number of candidates interested easily outnumbered the available slots in ai.

in the pre-selection stage, the hr mainly asked me questions that seek to determine my level of motivation for the program, why mid-career switch, interests, work background. nothing technical in nature. i couldn't remember word for word per question as it's conducted more like a conversational chat.

for round 2, the tech guy will be on board the interview, so i would expect that's when the interview will more technical in nature.

The person that emailed the rejection was different from the person that email the notification for interview. Anyway, I emailed both and cc'ed ibf to inform them of the situation.

I'm overseas at the moment, so maybe they had some difficulty contacting me. But that seems weird, since deutsche could call through with no problems. Hmmm.

30min to do 20 questions. simple maths (sec sch) and statistic questions. the maths questions have technique to solve in seconds so think first. the questions are kind of like pri sch GEP test questions.

Thank you. I applied DA track, but there is no notification that there is another test by NUS-ISS. Can anyone tell me what test is it, any link for relevant info?

I meant the DA test you all will be taking from NUSISS. I did not apply for that track so I do not know about that. I hope by next month some of us here will be offered by the respective FI.

Finished initial interview with citi for cc track. They were quite detailed, asked quite a lot on cloud concepts that a newbie wouldn't have known. Also asked about motivation and why citi.
