thanks logidiculous, what track did you apply for? only read about technical assessment for DA track, so far no one posted for AI track

either because AI is a new track (if i dont remember wrongly), or because this thread is on DA. but i think there should be assessment for all tracks, to sieve out applicants.

Maybe due to covid, no assessment for DA. Today ended. No news.

really. seems like no one is getting assessments. not sure abt other threads in TFIP. since I assume most ppl will be eligible, they may use balloting? ahaha.

would you as an employee choose to ballot when you know that there might be a chance to lose a better candidate? haha. lets just wait patiently. Dec is still long way to go.

to be honest, I am also not confident of the Technical assessment hahaha, I have no time to prepare for it either.. currently in working in research centre, but thought of entering AI track for long term prospects... what about you?

yup. I am not confident at all, my Diploma was STEM but it was 10 years ago. haha. i think majority of the people who want to enter this industry is because of long term prospects.

having did some minor technical test on programming in one of the interviews recently for IHIS, i would say i'm probably more on the functional side of things.
for DA, would probably think that the most important language to learn would be python.
those with some skill future credits spent on a python course would have a better advantage else always have a backup plan in mind.
