look like the assessment is quite long at 115 min for software engineering. And have to do some pre study also

I wonder how difficult it would actually be. The study materials seem to cover pretty basic concepts no?

is it a coding test? i cant apply as i already in the program.

They did not specify it as a coding test.. So maybe?

Wow you mean they actually do send you materials to prepare for the assessment? and can I ask if they have a firm date on the assessment or can you attempt it whenever before a deadline?

It is an online assessment which you can attempt anytime from 30th aug to 5th sep 2355...

but looking like it is more stricter because they requires computer with microphone and webcam unlike the assessment for cyber security

Adding on to what arcan3 said, yes they sent some materials as a 'bridging course'.

The study material is quite intense and the concept is quite advance level. They already included objects, classes and methods inside... Moreover, they picked Java which is not easy for beginner to learn.

I can also see that there is lesser interest in Software Engineering as the view for this thread is much lower...

Hmm yeah, I see what you mean. How are you managing so far with the prep materials?
Also, when are you planning to do your assessment? I'm still hoping to finish the prep materials perhaps tomorrow or the day after, and then do the test a little bit after that.

I guess the Software Engineering track is especially competitive, seeing that the assessment is also a lot more involved.

sounds like digipet test to me. I am not proficient in java but its better to try and struggle and learn OOP first before entering into the FI and be rated as low performance.

I think OOP is one of those things that don't really make sense until suddenly it does. Just gotta keep practicing and learning.

Yeah I did, still hoping they will get back to me on just one of the tracks, those I applied are currently under evaluation. I hope yours goes well for you too

Sure. I have basic knowledge of python. But no knowledge of html, css or especially Java. i went thru html and css. But java is another thing. I have difficulty comprehending. I hope they will also get back to me on another track that i applied for. That is AI.

maybe in the weekend ba. 115min assessment is quite intense and requires lot of concentration... i should not do it after my work end as i will be quite drained after that.
