Don't like the stamina mode. It's like to replace the power saving mode. Prefer the old stamina mode, last time wont restrict ur brightness,GPS, vibration and other things.

Sent from Z5 using GAGT

Unfortunately the old stamina mode will conflict with Doze function of Marshmallow.
So they cannot implement both functions together, but to give a watered-down stamina mode.

Just don't like it that it disables vibration and all those other things.

The cover is good. Ample protection for the phone. Dropped my z5p today on road surface while getting out of car. The cover suffered a deep scratch at one of the corners but phone escaped without a scratch.

The case saved your phone, nice to hear! How's the fingerprint scanner cutout on your Z5P case? Are you able to let the phone detect your finger well? :)

Guys, have some questions...
i saw online those Qi Wireless Charging Receiver for android phones/
Anyone here uses that?
If I were to use that, what will happened when my phone accidentally dropped into a pool of water? will that receiver damaged/shorted my Z5 micro-usb port?

I'm kinda tempted to get 1 of those.

here's the link if some of you dunno what im referring to:

hey guys! i've been using my xperia z5 for more than 6 months now and i would say i have mixed feelings.

just upgraded to 6.0.1 and still i see no significant improvement in battery life. i have shutapp installed and once in a while will 'close' all the background apps and yet the battery problem still exists.

also, i experience lagginess and it sometimes hangs on me. could it be i have many apps installed? i also disabled notifications for almost everything except whatsapp and wechat and i feel like it really defeats the purpose of the phone.

should i do a factory reset and then a restore from a backup?

going nuts..:s11::s11:

How do u do a re-flash using the companion PC? I cant find that options.
Im oso experiencing batt drain faster than Z2. I had Doze installed, and only allow 5 apps running on background, still the batt cant last 1 day (by that i mean 12hrs). Usage is same as when Im using Z2.
Also, phone auto restart afew times since I got it...

Pls advise how do I perform re-flash.

Thank u

If the build number is 32.2.A.0.224, then its already available for download.
However, I dun find it that good.
My batt cant last till 10pm.. with it being fully charge in the morning at around 730am.

Unlike Z2, it can last till next morning and still have around 20~30%.

Unless u activate the STAMINA mode, which deactivate GPS, vibration and some other functions...
Previous model activate STAMINA mode, GPS still active...

Anyway, I have yet to re-flash my Z5.
Dunno why I cant seems to do backup at my home pc.. have to use office laptop then can... strange...
