Hello! Ever since I update to the latest andriod version. Now Whatsapp got problem.

Always got the notification. If I off notification, then totally no vibration and sound at all. If I on, then got sound, vibration and notification.

How to have no notification but got vibration and sound anyone?

I am using Sony Xperia Z5 Premium running on Andriod Version 7.0.

no issue with mine. maybe u want to re-isntall whatsapp?

Does anyone know how much is it to replace antenna (3rd party or 313)? Phone unable to receive telco signal, wifi is ok. No more warranty

If it's ok in safe mode, then it might be a software issue and not a hardware issue. Try repairing the phone via Xperia Companion (data will be wiped).

Ok now even safe mode is not working... guess it is hardware issue

Anyone having the experience by using the latest version of this affects your phone calls by going into loudspeaker mode automatically?

For me, there will be no issues if i am using the factory's version (by uninstalling the updates).

I did the update two days ago... no problem whatsoever. can't tell if battery life is better or worse as well. anyway the phone already two years old... so I don't think there's going to be a big impact.

I read that this update may also bring better battery life and all 8cores will be available for use that's why I'm tempted to update.

So you didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in the link? Hmm maybe I should give it a go then.

nope, no issue whatsoever.. I hardly play with the phone much so to me it's just about the same.

sadly I read that z5 will not be getting the oreo 8.0 update so just going to use it for a month or so more before getting a new phone once my contract ends next month.

Hi, has anyone here had the earphone jack on the z5 replaced before?

Any shops to recommend?

Was quoted of "up to sgd 150" for replacement at orchard 313, considering my options now, maybe even getting a used z3. Ha.

And i find the jack on my older xperia sp to be more robust, but the sound quality is noticeably not as good.

My Sony cannot turn on and I half suspect it to be the batt problem. The back casing budges out.

Any clue if the Taobao batt DIY replacement should be good enough or need to go back to sony and replace.

Those that change the batt after warranty can advise how much it cost.
