The disadvantage of Z3 is the charging port cover. Heard long time usage will broke off. latest model like Z5 should be better, hopefully the battery will better over time. Still waiting before the plunge. For me it is either Z3+, Z5 or Z5p

unless I need to connect Z3 to PC, there isn't a need for me to use the flap. I charge the phone via the magnetic port too so it's not an issue.

Z3 is the last Sony flagship phone on-board of kitkat OS, which the android OS does not keep awake as much as that on lollipop.

and unless newer flagship models like Z5 premium are using "memory on display" technology, don't think their battery is as long lasting.

I'm using z3, about a year.

I charged daily, I'm a heavy phone user. I only change using magnectic dock, never through usb.

My z3 magnectic port still a good, no sign of broke off.

I am not sure about other models, used Z3 for about one year the charging port is still in good condition.

Why on earth would you use that? I love the magnetic port.

I frequently use the charging dock for my Z3C and I even got a magnetic cable for it. But there's just no way of using the phone comfortably without getting the cable disconnected. I end up using the USB cable directly. The external USB port on the Z5C is a godsend.

Anyway any Z5 user having adaptive brightness bug? Each time you unlock your phone, the display will adjust to the right brightness. In doing so, the blacks on the screen become somewhat washed out grey colour?

Used to have this problem on the Z3C and now it's still present on the Z5C

These 4 are reliable. I personally prefer Kasiamobile & mobile square due to their friendly service. Last year I went to check Red White mobile to enquire abt the Z3, the staff were not very friendly.
