2 news came up: 1 is Mexican tariff. But no idea why it's such a big deal because I still get to eat my tacos in Singapore.
Let's taco bout the other news: countries buying Iranian oil may face sanctions .

Thanks trump. I love u.

I hope countries push back on the Iran oil sanctions, HK said they don't care about unilateral sanctions. Hope other countries also develop some balls.

Wow! Now what happens to USMCA? It was not even ratified. Trump is really a chaos man.
But why does this bilateral trade even cause such a big fall?

The market is already in a fragile state over trade tariffs... adding another front would not help. Tariffs will ultimately increase costs and hurt the consumers... and coming at a time like this would likely detract from the economy.

It is getting so hard to swing trade. There are not any ideal short setups and plentiful of long swing ones. The dilemma I have is that I am fundamentally bearish, the S&P trades below 50 and 200 day MA and hence I have little confidence in taking long positions.... the odds weights heavily against those who trade longs when the index is falling or showing bearish tendencies beyond those that resulted from corrections.

Around 10-10.30pm Singapore time can start to short US index Liao if the futures beforehand is green. That's the trend so far for past week.
So far it seems to be one day green one day red. So far the past 4 Mondays has been red if my memory serves me right. I'm not so sure about next Monday since this Friday is most likely going to be red.
