Just thinking whether fund managers are honest in these surveys 🤔

It is not different from what my contacts within the industry are saying. There is a lot of scepticism out there. And the volume footprint has reflected the lack of participation from the institutional type of players. This thing can cut both ways - either they are right or they end up capitulating into a FOMO crowd.

I have been checking on my own bearish bias by respecting the market and the price. Fundamentally, the current scenario does not make sense but if one considers the record amount of liquidity sloshing in the system, it does explain things quite a bit. I do not need to understand everything but I definitely want to ride the momentum for my short term trading.

It doesn't pay to be a contrarian.

Statistics show gamblers have little chance against the house. So why bet against the house?

Follow the house. Buy shares in LVS instead.

I choose not to enter the casino instead. You need a certain type of personality to continue remaining invested in a dogmatic way, ignoring whatever is happening. I don't have that personality. So I am out.

In any case, I believe, you can only enjoy that much wealth that you lifestyle requires. Anything more is going to be wasted or just spoil you. My frugal lifestyle will not change just because I make increased returns from stocks, even if that happens.

even though you choose not to enter *for the time being*, you keep reading about what is going on in the casino.

sooner or later will be tempted to go back in again and gamble.

There were already past statistics to suggest that.

I think revhappy had liquidated his IWDA portfolio twice and suspended his IB twice.

Kind of weird behavior I would say. Staying out of market but reading about the market on a frequent basis.

But I really like to take a cue from him when he is going to start buying again as S&P500 rockets higher. This is the time I am considering to sell.

is the purpose of this thread for revhappy to convince himself not to go back in?
