Generally a GE(general examination of The Eye) have to be done first prior to cl fitting.. I Guess you can indicate your interest during the GE.

it seem like i am unable to find a brand that work perfect for my astigmatism

cooper vision is very good, most comfortable and felt like that nothing is there but stability is not there, it still shift when i blink my eyes

i settled for B&L pure vision HD2 which is the most stable i could find, but because i commute daily riding motorcycle, i can tell when it goes even slightly off focus while i am on the road

anybody have similar experience and know which brand work best for astigmatism

Fake dubious contact lens online

Recently a friend introduce me a contact lens website called SEECHIC which I bought with a 20% discount code. Upon receiving my contact lenses, I realised the products from SEECHIC are from China! I received my contact lenses (1 Day Acuvue Moist). There is a label on the products stating that it is only for distribution in China, Hong Kong. I immediately tossed away my purchase knowing that they are from China! I wouldn’t trust my eye care with such products! Unreliable and dubious source of contact lens supply online.

Seriously it doesn't matter where your lenses is from. The fitting is what matters most. Look for cheap things of course they source from countries where cost is lower la. If not how they charge you cheap. Thats how globalisation works

Maybe I should start to see doctor instead of optician
mind sharing your doctor?

Doctors dont waste time fitting contact lenses (rose k) and if you do find one. Maybe they do it once every 3 months. Compared to optometrists who do it once every month? Its far off.
Once again opticians font fit contact lenses.
There's a doctor who does speialised lenses but only to people with cornea problems.

I went down a shop to check out getting contact lenses. Ive astig in one eye so seems that dailies are out of the question. It was about $200+ to get a long term one. Is that a good price?

Youre probably talking about conventional annual replacement lenses. 200 for 1 year. 200÷365 days. Tell me is that dirt cheap or what.

I wouldn't be surprised that its not silicone hydrogel. There are silicone hydrogen conventional lenses which are more breathable. Its not about price in contact lenses. Its about how healthy you can keep your eyes while enduring the side effects of contact lens wear.

200+ you still have to factor in solution costs, protein treatment costs.

Its your eyes. Price or health? You decide.
