Did u go for the balloting in Parc life? I think even your MOP still 9 mths away, u will still get a good chance to get your choice unit in Parc life. Due to its poor response, likely the developer is more than willing to fight for u. Parc life's location still much better than Citerion seriously...

Nope I didn't go for the ballot as I don't feel comfortable the ec is surrounded by industrial. The ura shows more industrial building coming up in future along sembawang avenue. Still shopping around.

I think now the market is saturated with EC and all ECs are overpriced. Ironically, their price cannot drop much due to the high price the developer had paid for the land. So seriously my advice is that we can only look at 2 EC projects that differentiate from the rest which are bxxxxsxxxxx and vxxxxxxxx. Both are the closest to MRT. You cannot get this kind of prices for most of the New PC at such location.. If not, don't commit to any ECs. All are really overpriced le....just stay in HDB better and keep your cash for PC later. Wait for the Stamp duty to be removed...

Actually if you do drive, The Criterion, Signature, Skies, Miltonia Res and Shaug are just a few minutes away from 3 major expressway TPE, SLE, CTE. I find this to be a huge plus point and hence don't quite feel the location is that bad when this aspect is taken into consideration. Of course we know the market always prefer a project to be nearer to the train station so in this aspect, my personal view remains just as that. You just cant beat market opinion.

cos even if we drive, i do drive actually. if we drive, anywhere is consider ok also but majority are thinking of their kids i believe, they need to be near transportation to go school. u see the ECs u mention, there are not really many primary schools nearby within walking distance.

While the MRT breakdowns are too frequent, I still support the move towards a car-lite system in the long-term despite being a regular driver and occasional commuter. If only we could have the best of both.

especially now avenue 1 is linked to cte/tpe, most people can escape the crowded lentor, its even more plus point.

When Ave 8 is ready, those from Sembawang can also access Ave 1 and CTE/TPE. At least there is an improvement in infrastructure before Canberra is developed, not after.
